Dear Briders,
Here in Lynchburg today, April 22,, I heard my first Scarlet Tanager in the
woods behind my house here in Boxwood off Wiggington. I do not know the
first date of its appearance during past years but I am hoping because of many
cut trees in the neighborhood that it will nest near here.
