Part of the Saturday program at Great Falls includes a birdwalk at 9 AM
(meet at the Visitors Center breezeway) and a talk by a raptor rehabilitator
(with live birds) at 10:30 AM.

Location: Great Falls Park and Visitor Center
Come to Great Falls Park and enjoy a day of family fun as we celebrate the
200th anniversary of the completion of the Patowmack Canal. The park will
offer chances to learn more about the interesting history of the park with a
full day of activities including music, hikes, animal programs, gold
panning, wildlife rescue, and fire fighting. Kids can participate in fun
activities such as our Junior Ranger program or get a close look at, and
learn more about, some of the wildlife that live here in the park. For more
