On Saturday morning just past 9 AM, a group of Virginia birders enjoyed
splendid looks at the Bullock's oriole feeding on suet in the Vienna backyard
it has faithfully been visiting (and a handsomely plumaged male it is).
For those who came a bit later, or waited out a chilly hour + 20 minutes, the
oriole returned to feed again. The homeowner also reported it had initially
visited the feeding station about 8 AM.
