[va-bird] Rusty Blackbird at Huntley Meadows Park 053005

Gentle Readers,

Sy Fishbein led a group of 18 birders today, Monday, May 30, 2005, at Huntley 
Meadows Park from 0700 until 0930.  Mike Ready, Ann Bogar, Barbara and John 
Perry and others observed an errant Rusty Blackbird from a distance of about 
ten feet while on the Barnyard Run Trail.  This is the second Rusty Blackbird 
reported in the last three weeks at the park.

Huntley Meadows Park can be reached from the Beltway by driving south on US 
Route 1 approximately three miles to Lockheed Boulevard.  Turn right on 
Lockheed Boulevard and proceed to the intersection of Lockheed and Harrison 
Lane.  The Park entrance is on the left.  

The regularly scheduled Monday Morning Birdwalk is open to all; the group meets 
at 0700 in the Visitor's Center Parking Lot.
