Gordy Adamski and I made it back over to Clair Mellinger's Northern
Saw-whet Owl (NSWO) banding station in Rockingham County last night. After
Saturday's big night of 21 and another 11 on Sunday, we were hopeful for
another good night. We weren't disappointed.
Clair ended up with 11more Monday night along with a Screech Owl thrown in
for good measure. That's a total of 43 NSWO in three nights! Sorry, Wallace!
