Paula Sullivan and I stopped by to see what the migrant situation was like at
Riverbend (Fairfax County). It wasn't as good as Sue Heath reported yesterday.
No empids- just one Great Crested Flycatcher and 2 Eastern Wood-Pewees.
Warblers consisted of Black-and-white (sorry Sue), a male and female, 1
Magnolia, 1 male American Redstart, 1 Nasville, and 2 Common Yellowthroats.
We also had a juvenile Rose-breasted Grosbeak, two Hairy Woodpeckers seeming
engaged in courtship behavior!, a Brown Thrasher, and a female Rby-throated
Hummingbird.
