At about 6:30 this morning I awoke to my wife gently trying to wake me up (she
was kicking me to take out the dog), so after a brisk walk with Elvis I decided
to try my luck at Riverbend. Comparitively I showed up late, as there were
already a gaggle of birders on the meadow wrenching their necks about
"warblering". I stopped next to the group at the top of the meadow for a bit
and picked up Chestnut-sided, and Magnolia warblers and then moseyed back down
to the bottom and picked up Ovenbird, Common Yellowthroat, and Black and White
warblers. I also spotted a Winter Wren flying Kamikaze style through the
underbrush.
