If you witness wildlife in distress in Northern Virginia or the DC Metro 
area, please call the Wildlife Rescue League Hotline at 703/440-0800. The 
hotline 
operates 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (6 p.m. winter) every day, thanks to the wonderful 
volunteers. A volunteer will return your call and give you intstructions on how 
to proceed.
