Hi all,

I don't know that this made the general VA-Bird line yet:

There were 6 Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks on a small lake off Ironbridge

Road near the intersection with Chippenham Pkwy in Chesterfield County

today - 02-Jun-03.  They flew off about 4PM - so check your ponds.  I'll

let you know if they come back.

This is a classic time for wild Black-bellieds to move northward, and so it's
pretty likely that these were wild birds rather than escapees.  If anyone
sees them, please do post to  the state listserv!
