[va-bird] Red-necked Phalarope at Blandy

I too observed the female red-necked phalarope yesterday morning at Blandy =
Experimental Farm. I agree with Linda, who I met there, that it is a =
magical place. On the drive around the loop, I stopped in the wooded area =
to listen to the birds, looked out my window and about ten yards distant =
at eye level was a beatiful black-billed cuckoo. It staayed for many =
minutes watching meas I watched it, shifting positions occasionally to =
give me great views from all angles. It was indeed magical.
