A Red-necked Grebe was seen at Theodore Roosevelt Island on the Potomac River
between the Island and the shore near the footbridge from 1130 to 1530 on
Monday, April 28, 2003. Also seen on the Island were:

Song Sparrows
Carolina Wren
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmice
Red-winged Blackbird
Eastern Towhee
Mallard
Eastern Phoebe
Great Blue Heron
Turkey Vulture
Northern Cardinal
American Crow
Fish Crow
No Gulls! No Warblers! No Orioles! Lots of joggers.
