Hello all,
While participating in the Manassas/Bull Run CBC today, we spotted three
Red-headed Woodpeckers on the grounds of the International Country Club. This
is a private golf course and country club on Rte. 50 just west of the
Greenbriar Shopping Center that has kindly given us permission to walk their
property for the past three years. The Woodpeckers, along with the two Barred
Owls we saw on the same property, were among the highlights of our day.
Good birding to all during the CBC season.
