VA Birders,
This report is for Thu., Oct. 27, and Fri., Oct. 28. Joanna Taylor and
John Fox birded with me at Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington Co. on Thursday,
and Jane Grawe birded with me on Friday. Our best birds both days were 2
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, and PURPLE FINCHES (1 on Thursday, and 7 on Friday).
Other birds of note were: a WINTER WREN (seen by Joanna) on Thursday, a SWAMP
SPARROW seen both days; a BROWN CREEPER (found by Jane) and a PALM WARBLER on
Friday.
Good birding,
Val Kitchens
Arlington, VA
