Gentle Readers,
Harry Glasgow led a group of four birders at Huntley Meadows Park from 0715 to
0850 this morning, 3/28/2005, in the pouring rain. The heavy, cool, rain had
saturated the ground and water accumulated in thin layers everywhere in the
Park. The signs of an advancing Spring were evident in the defensive actions
of the nesting Canada Geese and in the appearance of Great Egrets and Eastern
Phoebes this week.
