I spotted a Common Raven over Rt. 234 in Manassas heading north this morning.
Last year, my first of fall Raven was 9/2 at the Manassas Battlefield
Visitor's Center.
The two American Golden Plovers continue this evening at the Kettle Wind Turf
Farm in Bristow, near Manassas.
Before going to the turf farm, I saw c. 75 Common Nighthawks near Aden Rd. at
5:15 p.m.
A Pie-billed Grebe was in the big retention pond at the Rt. 234 bypass with
Rt. 28.
