I’ve been talked into leading a bird walk in a part of Virginia I’ve never
been to.  The group will be staying at Wolf Run, a retreat adjacent to the
Forest off of Route 55 one mile from the West Virginia border.  Does anyone
know of any good trails or birding areas in the immediate vicinity (within ½
hour drive)?  The nearest towns appear to be Star Tannery, Mountain Falls,
Lebanon Chuch, VA, and Wardensville, WV.  Thanks.
