VA Birders,
Eight inches of snow and a temperature of 4 degrees brought lots of birds (20
Cardinals) in to the feeders this morning. An unusual visitor was a
Red-breasted Nuthatch, a bird I've been hoping would come in. I've had them in
the yard pines this past fall but not at the feeder. On my new website are a
couple of photos I took, while both the Red-breasted and a White-breasted were
feeding.

Feeding along side the Nuthatches and Cardinals were
Towhees,Juncos, Goldfinches, Downy Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers,
White-throated Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Chickadees, Titmice, a Carolina Wren, a
Blue Jay, a Red-winged Blackbird and a Mockingbird.
Enjoy the Birds,
