Got up dark and early to run by Joplin R. Unfortunately the gate across from
the VFW was closed, but I did hear one Whip-poor-will. Things were kind of slow
along Possum Point and Cockpit Rds. Saw and/or heard 10 warbler species, oddly
enough no Yellow-rumps. Most numerous warbler honors went to Worm-eating and N.
Parula at four each. One Black-and-white warbler was seen collecting pine
needles, possibly for nesting? Complete list for Possum Point follows.
