[va-bird] Pohick Bay Regional Park, Ffx. Co., Mar. 27

Hello, birders.

I found my first CHIPPING SPARROW of the year on this
mild but rainy morning.  The bird was feeding on the
ground with a large flock of juncoes near Picnic
Shelter 1 at Pohick Bay RP, on Mason Neck.

Waterfowl were present on the bay but were on the
other side, near Ft. Belvoir.  Common Loon (4), Horned
Grebe (5), Canada Goose (22), Com. Merganser (2f),
scaup sp. (31), Ring-necked Duck (8) and Bufflehead
(4) were observed.
