I checked out the area below the Swift Creek Lake dam this morning;
historically this has been an area to find Louisiana Waterthrush, but there
were  none
today.  Perhaps they haven't arrived yet - has anyone seen/heard them  this
year at Rockwood Park in Chesterfield?  I know there was a very  early report
of one in (I believe) Powhatan.

Species list:

Osprey
Mourning Dove
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Northern Flicker

Pileated Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse

White-breasted Nuthatch
Brown Creeper
Golden-crowned Kinglet
American Robin
Pine Warbler

Eastern Towhee
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
Brown-headed Cowbird
American Goldfinch

The two Pine Warblers seemed to be an obvious pair, the female was still in
first year plumage.  Does anyone know at what age female Pine Warblers  breed?
