I hesitate to bring this up because it's a MD sighting, but I can *see* VA from
where I was..........
This morning when I got out of the car at work, I heard a Phoebe calling. This
is the first of the year for me at this location, so I'm putting it in the
migrant category. I know this won't make Todd's "VA Firsts" list since it's in
MD, but I'm right across the Potomac from Leeslyvania St. Park so I'm betting
there are other new Phoebes around. (Appologies if everyone's been reporting
Phoebes. I haven't been keeping up with the list too much lately.)
It really made my day to hear that guy singing(?) screeching(?) away this
morning.
