I was unable today to watch as I would have liked to for migrating hawks,
although I knew plenty would be moving through with the much cooler weather.
But I did see around 3 pm a Peregrine Falcon soar directly over the Abbey, and
then about twenty minutes later an Osprey, joined by a Sharp-shinned Hawk and 7
or 8 Broadwings. Of course there were the usual half a dozen Black Vultures,
and 15 or 20 Turkey Vultures.
