VA-bird,
My dad and I made a quick stop in the Remington area of Fauquier County
while driving down Rt. 29 today. Of note was a single Pectoral Sandpiper on
the east side of Grassdale Rd. The bird was near a puddle with several
Killdeer. Definitely my earliest Pec in the state. There were only a few
Horned Larks around, and no longspurs were seen.
In Manassas, 3 Red-necked Grebes were still present behind the Comfort Inn.
