Tom Mizell and I birded Paul State Forest in western Rockingham County this AM
getting about 25 species. Some of our better birds were:
Common Yellowthroat
Black-throated Blue (several)
Black-throated Green
Kentucky
Ovenbird and Veery (together on ground).
Great-crested Flycatcher
Catbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Louisiana Waterthrush
Scarlet Tanagers (3 or 4)
