Saw a single kite yesterday at about 1500
Single kite today soaring at about 1545
I've been looking frequently at various times of the day with little success
except for the occassional glimpse.
Most visitors that are coming now are leaving without seeing the birds. At
least that is the info I get from those I meet or email back to me.
On another note, I recently paddled the Shenandoah River from Compton Rapids to
Bentonville. Lots of birds but the most interesting were:
-Immature Bald Eagle and parent/adult
-No less than 9 Red Headed Woodpeckers
-25+ Baltimore Orioles
Lots of the usuals as well.
