[va-bird] Ovenbird

I managed to spend most of the holiday weekend mucking about in the crawlspace
of my house in Newport News. As I emerged yesterday for a short break I
startled an OVENBIRD foraging for insects on my porch. The bird was quite
tame, perching on the railing 4 feet from me as I came out of the crawlspace, I
suppose it was amused by the appearance of a fossorial human ;)

This is my first year here, but this struck me as a fairly late date for an
Ovenbird. Is it common to have a few late birds in the area?

Cheers,
Steve
