At about 11 AM today, walked out into our parking lot in Reston VA and
had a singing orchard oriole. They have nested here for three years.
Around our house in southwestern Loudoun yesterday, I saw first of year
eastern kingbirds and great crested flycatchers as well as a
broad-winged hawk. Blue jay migration was extremely heavy from the time
the rains stopped out our way around 10:30 AM through early evening.
