[va-bird] Orange-crowned Warbler in Loudoun County (12/19/04)

This morning at about 8:45 and again at 10:30 I saw an Orange-crowned Warbler 
at Riverside Park in Loudoun County. When I first spotted the bird it was in 
the northwest corner of the park, along the path near the large sycamore. Later 
in the morning it was along the back side of the park, where the path parallels 
the Potomac. Both times it was in the company of a large mixed flock, 
comprising mostly White-throated Sparrows. The bird stayed low to the ground in 
the vegetation. The bird looked similar to the first-winter female as depicted 
in the Sibley guide.
Other birds in the same general vicinity included:
Brown Creepers - 3 or 4
Winter Wren
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Swamp Sparrows
Golden-crowned Kinglets - many
Ruby-crowned Kinglets - 2
