Seventeen waterfowl species were counted.  In addition to the Goldeneye Paul
mentioned (I counted eight; one group of 3 females and 2 males, then 3
singleton males - all on Occoquan Bay), there was a Greater Scaup on the
pond near the pavillion, mixed in with L. Scaup and Ring-necked Ducks.  A
pair of BH Cowbirds at the pavillion.  Nine turkey crossed the first meadow
near the entrance in flight. A Harrier hunted this meadow as well. Many
canvasbacks mixed in with scaup raft on Occoquan Bay.  Spring Peepers
singing on Easy Road.
