While watering some flowers last night I heard a bobwhite calling from
the power line right-of-way behined our house in Woodbrdge, VA. He was
calling again this morning when I left for work. Bobwhite used to be
annual residents when we moved in 11 years ago, but in recent years they
have only been sporadic visitors. Hopefully, this one will stick around
and find a mate (if he hasn't already).
