This morning, Friday, April 23, Julie Knight and I spotted a singing Northern
Waterthrush at Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge near Woodbridge, Va. It
was sitting on a branch near the Deephole Point Trail just before it meets
the Easy Trail. Also at the refuge were many Yellow Warblers, Common
Yellowthroats, Blue-Grey Gnatcatchers and two Cattle Egrets in the field on the
right
just after the entrance to the refuge.
