On Monday Sue and I birded route 605/606 and the area around there. There were
the usual high number of Robins and Starlings in the farm fields. There were
also a very high number of Blue Birds out and about on this beautiful day as
they prepare to nest. At one point in the field we were scoping there were 45
blue birds male and female on the corn stalks. The blue birds would fly into
the winter wheat and another would take it place. There was no telling how
many were out. Also a pretty cool sighting was a deer swimming across the
Great Wicomico.
