VA Birders:
I walked onto my driveway in North Arlington tonight just before dark (about
8 pm) at was surprised to see two Common Nighthawks fly by. Then (I think) a
third Nighthawk perched on a TV antenna across the street. It stayed about 10
minutes and moved to a nearby tree limb. After another 10 minutes a local
House Finch and Cardinal combined forces to chase it off.
