[va-bird] Re: Need info on bluebird nest

bluebirds often spend the cold nights together in a bluebird box to keep warm 
- i haver seen photos of many crammed into a box in the middle of winter - i 
think if you moved the box to a nearby location, they will find it - also, 
consider where you are putting it in order to keep black rat snakes from being 
b=able to get into it and eat the egss or babies - find a good bird supply 
store 
and see what you can get in the way of a baffle to keep snakes and raccoons 
from reaching into it -   and if you have to have the tree taken down. 
definitely do it way before any nesting period might start in march or april -
