While waiting to take my wife to the train station for a trip, a Fox Sparrow
and a yellow-rumped Warbler (female basic plumage) showed up at the feeders at
my home in Annandale, Fairfax County. The Yellow-rumped was on the deck
feasting on peanut scraps. Spring is on the move and migration is in full swing.
