Yesterday afternoon, I heard an unfamiliar song outside my window. After
trying to locate it for some time in the pouring rain, I got good looks of a
singing male Nashville warbler. Here's a list of the yard birds for 4-26-04:
Broad winged hawk whistled
2 chimney swifts
Ruby throated hummingbird - male visited my feeder
Bluebird on nest in box
Solitary vireo
Red-eyed vireo
Nashville warbler *
Prairie warbler
Yellow-rumped warbler
Redstart
4 ruby crowned kinglets
*first of year
