Eight people turned out this morning for the N. Va. Bird Club trip to Manassas,
notwithstanding intermittent showers and low light conditions. The trip was
led by Bev Leeuwenburg, Laura Catterton, and myself. We started at the New
York Monuments area & then went to "Sparrow Alley" (the area just south of the
law enforcement office), finishing up shortly before 11 am. We wound up with
40 species, including 7 warbler species. Large blue jay flocks were on the
move. List as follows:
