[va-bird] NVBC Manassas Battlefield 4/5/03

Greetings,

This morning, twelve people participated in the Northern Va. Bird Club walk 
at the Stone Bridge. Despite the intermitent drizzle and mist, we found a 
nice variety of birds along Sparrow Alley and around the farm equipment near 
the horse stables. Best birds today were: Great Egret (2 flyover), Hermit 
Thrush ( 4 along Bull Run), E. Phoebe (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (1), Brown 
Thrasher (3 singing), E. Towhee (4), Chipping Sparrow (5 at the Visitor 
Center), Field Sparrow (25-many singing), VESPER SPARROW ( 4 along Sparrrow 
Alley), Savannah Sparrow (12), and E. Meadowlark (12-many singing).
