VA Birders,
19 people came out for a spring bird walk in January at Huntley Meadows led by
Steve Williams and me. The highlight was the chance to study several species of
ducks relatively up close. A female American Wigeon was especially cooperative
as she swam around in front of the tower. We also saw a Winter Wren hop up out
of the bushes and a Sharpie flying over the boardwalk. For more info on the
