Birders:
Seen from the yard today were several interesting birds including a N.
Raven that flew over croaking and showing its wedge shaped tail. Also
entertaining were two male B. Kingfishers that chased and chattered
around for about 10 minutes. Other birds: a solitary Blue-headed
Vireo, Brown Creeper (2), Robins (115), Winter Wren (1), Junco (1),
Purple Finch (1m, 1f/imm), 6 species of woodpeckers, plus the usual
assortment of birds. We're still on Orange Alert for Siskins and E.
Grosbeaks....any day now!
