Continuing the trend of Mourning Warbler reports, one was noted at Wakefield
Park in Annandale, VA this morning (5/24) between downpours. The bird
showed itself briefly at the north end of the park along the path near the
first footbridge, and vocalized sporadically for a few minutes. Other birds
of note in the immediate area included Canada Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler,
Northern Parula and Acadian Flycatcher.
