Good Morning VA-Birders,
Larry Meade and I birded Julie Metz and Leesylvania SP today in between
raindrops. Julie Metz was birdy early, but Leesylvania was slow. Highlight of
the day was a male MERLIN hunting from a tall snag at Julie Metz. There was
also a yellowish race PALM WARBLER nearby with a fair amount of russet still
present on the cap. Including the DC CORMORANTS seen at the marina near LEE
SP, we saw 41 species this morning despite the conditions. Complete lists
