Nice morning yesterday at Monticello park in Alexandria. Unless I've missed
them, I don't remember seeing many posts from there this fall.
Only had about 90 minutes there. Not too long a list but some great warbler
close-ups, including a mid-air "fight" between a Hooded and a Black-throated
Blue about 15 feet from me.
My list:
Turkey Vulture
Red-shouldered Hawk
Downy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker (heard)
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue Jay
American Crow
Tufted Titmouse

Carolina Wren
Thrush (prob. Swainson's, but it was too dark to see for sure...)
Veery
American Robin
Gray Catbird
Northern Mockingbird
Magnolia Warbler

Black-throated Green Warbler
Hooded Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
American Redstart
