Yesterday at Monticello Park there was a good variety of birds.
Migrants included:-
Black&White Warbler
YR Warblers (lots)
Black-throated Green
Blue-Winged Warbler
Blue-headed Vireo (2+)
Wood Thrush
Hermit Thrush (2+)
Others also reported Hooded and Black-throated Blue Warblers
At Huntley Meadows three Ibis were being particularly elusive in the
emergant growth, across the water in front of the Tower, they offered
limited and brief viewsduring the afternoon hours.
Still present Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, upto 4 Solitary Sandpipers
and many Rusty Blackbird, the dull damp weather resulted in great low
altitude or perched views of Rough-Winged, Barn and Tree Swallow and
Purple Martins.
