Hello all
This morning I lead a bird walk in Montgomery Hall Park with two member of the
Augusta Bird Club . We started out at 8:30am with a temp of a brisk 39 degrees
& ended at11 am with a temp of about 44 degrees . During this time we saw or
heard 46 species of birds . The cooler temps have brought in many Sparrow &
Warbler species into our area . Below is a full list of what we found .
Ruffed Grouse --1 saw a large bird jump down to the ground & a couple seconds
later it gave out its alarm call ( near leaf pile )

Red -- bellied Woodpecker
