VA-Birders,

A beautiful morning at Huntley.  Waterfowl numbers were better than previous
weeks, but still lacking in diversity.  Some highlights:

Hooded merganser - 12+
Am. black duck - 4 (two m/f pairs)
Green-winged teal - 40+

Common snipe - 1
Sharp-shinned hawk - 1 (imm. male perched close to boardwalk for full-field
scope views)
Eastern towhee - 1 (near tower)

plus all the regulars..

In light of recent events, the often-ignored canada geese garnered more
attention than usual...
