[va-bird] Mississippi Kites at Huntley Meadows

Got nice views of a male and female Mississippi Kites soaring and  diving 
near the beaver dam and platform at noon (5/21/07).  I wonder if  they are 
nesting here at the marsh.
 
Also got looks at:
 
3 bald eagles:  juvenile and adults
1 pectoral sandpiper
1 ruby-throated hummingbird
1 scarlet tanager
1 eastern kingbird
1 purple martin
6 Swainson's thrush
1 Greater yellowlegs
18 Least sandpipers
1 bluebird
 
 
Heard:
 
2 white-eyed vireo
1 barred owl
