Hola,
I visited Buckland, along US 29 at the Fauquier/Prince William border on
Tuesday and Wednesday. Both visits allowed me to watch a single adult
Mississippi Kite for about fifteen minutes each time. I love that I live
reasonably
close to kites now.
Later on Wednesday, 16 May, I had a gorgeous Black Tern in breeding plumage
flying over a farm pond in Fauquier County. Such a stunning bird this time
of year.
Cheers,
Todd
