Birder Friends -- I have received a menacing phone message on my cell
phone.
The message, from a male caller, said "Hi, Connie. You're a bird
watcher. Well you've shown just how dirty you are on Sunday hunting.
Hopefully we can expose you for what you are. Have a nice day. Bye."
I assume that this came as a result of my postings to the listserv
regarding the Virginia legislation.
I am writing this to warn other birders and to learn if others are being
menaced as well. If there is an organized harassment campaign underway,
it may be unlawful or dangerous and we should keep each other informed.
