The female Scaup that I reported seeing at Ben Brenman Park on Thursday
is still there, and it was swimming with a pair of Hooded Mergansers
(m&f) on Friday and closely with a Ring-necked male today.

Given the body length, width of bill, and size of white mask, I still
think this could be a Greater Scaup. I have had a handful of differing
opinions.
